Carnival is NOT first class by
Dorothy R. from New York Sailing date: Jul 2010Pros: Met nice people onboard Cons: Kids everywhere -- no adult pool First and last trip on Carnival. Definitely not Norwegian or Royal Carribbean quality. Ship QualityHand sanitizers were always empty. Dining/FoodFood tasted like warmed up leftovers. Stateroom QualityThought I was getting outside room with a porthole. As a single, I paid for 2 and ended up with 1 single bed. I should have at least had a double ded. Ship Staff QualityThe staff kept my room very clean and were very pleasant. Entertainment & Activities

  A wonderful cruise by
Richard A. from Phoenix, AZ Sailing date: May 2010Pros: Was simply able to relax, no cell phone, no computer, just enjoy each day and each stop Cons: Spent too much time in the casino, my own fault. All the ship staff were very friendly, smiling and helpful. Always pleasant, and willing to assist, never pushing, ect. Made the whole cruise very enjoyable. As first time for a long cruise, it left a very positive attitude that "Hey, I think we will do this again some day". Way to go Carnival Glory. Ship Quality

  Another Good Cruise by
Stu S from Freeport, IL Sailing date: Jan 2010Pros: Carnival has a relaxed atmosphere, good service and wide range of cruise ages. Cons: Location of dining room. The Glory is one of Carnival's standard ships. It is still fresh and well laid out. Even with 2,600 people it does not seem crowded. The service is good, both in the dining rooms and state rooms. Tendered two days and their excursions had priority which we did not like. Great value. Ship QualityGlory is adding outdoor screen during dry docking starting Feb 1, 2010. This is a benefit and wished they had prior to cruise. The layout of the ship and size are nice. I really like all the activities being located on deck 5 or Lido decks. Dining/FoodThe food is predictable but good. Plenty of choices at a varety of locations. Stateroom QualityLarge rooms that were well maintained. Entertainment & ActivitiesCarnival always has something going on, I like the various activities on the Lido deck and nightime shows / night clubs. Appreciate they have penny slots. 0 out of 0 people found this review helpful.

  Best trip ever! by
Cynthia W from San Diego Sailing date: Jan 2010Pros: The service, staff, food, excursions, activities Cons: nothing This ship was voted the best for customer service and staff and I can see why, everyone has been helpful and nice from day one to the end. They really work for their tips and they made sure we had a memorable vacation! Ship Qualitydecor is not always my taste but things were new and clean and that was nice Dining/Foodgreat food, you can request things personally 24 hours in advanced and any food allergies, they make sure you don't get sick. Stateroom Qualityroom was a little small but it was clean and nice Ship Staff Qualitythey really made their ship that much better than the others, they were very accomodating Entertainment & Activitiesgreat activities daily! 0 out of 0 people found this review helpful.

Can't wait to cruise again! by
Joyce A. from Granite City, IL Sailing date: Feb 2009Pros: The service is outstanding Cons: Disembarking! We have cruised on Glory twice. Both times have been excellent, Our cabin steward recalled our names and cabin number immediately and greeted us by name daily. The food was always good, it seemed to get better as each day passed. We had a few unexpected side trips; we had to return to Belize when a passenger required medical attention, and we had to veer from course to rescue some people in a raft! And we still made it to our scheduled ports without much delay.
Cruising is the way to vacation and Glory is the ship you want to sail on. Ship Quality
Stateroom QualityClean, comfortable, and how about those towel animals! Ship Staff QualityThe best! Entertainment & ActivitiesTwo words: Deck party! Red team rules! 2 out of 2 people found this review helpful.

Eastern Caribbean - Feb 14th by
Ken S. from San Jose, California Sailing date: Feb 2009Pros: Excellent service! Cons: returning home Well, this was my 1st cruise, I didn't know what to expect. I was really impressed by the service. We stayed on deck 6 (Upper deck) and had 2 adjoining staterooms by the forward elevators.. Dinner was server in the Fwd dining room, table 177 that sat 4 so we weren't with a bunch of strangers, I preferred that anyway. Our waiter Ferry was great!, We had a little trouble understanding him the 1st night but by the end of the cruise we were all joking with him. I do recommend at least 1 nights dinner in the Emerald room ($30 each extra) dinner there was awesome. Ship Quality
Dining/FoodThe food was excellent! We only had lunch in the buffet (Red Sail) once but figured why walk through a line when you can get served in the Aft dining room! Its open seating, so you usually get seated at tables wiht other guests. Stateroom QualityThe room was spacious, walking out on the balcony was nice. Ship Staff QualityEveryone and I mean everyone was extreamly nice and helpful. Entertainment & ActivitiesThe shows were good, we enjoyed them and the comady shows (rated R) but still funny 13 out of 13 people found this review helpful.
